Background & Bio:
Trent is an education architect, literary artist and empowerment coach who focuses on how to build self-directed learning systems, creating your personal myth and professional development. He achieved a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and master’s in management with a concentration in human resources. He also developed Gestalt-style coaching methodology while training with Coaching for Transformation in its 9-month certification program, a Law of Attraction Certification from the Global Sciences Foundation and an Etiquette Consulting Certification from IAP Career College.
Trent acquired formal skill sets and experience in a number of higher education departments over 7 years: Admissions, Student Services, Information Tech, Student Affairs, Career Advisement, Tutoring, Seminar Instruction and Workshop Facilitation. Each sector provided him with the learner’s insight, understanding their challenges and needs. It’s through this rigorous interaction that he recognized the challenges adults face with discovering, harnessing and transferring their talents in the professional environment. Having a gifted mind, intense emotions and multidimensional perspective are assets when cultivated and can be burdens in a job that doesn’t feeling challenging, managers who cannot see your vision or peers who operate at a narrower spectrum.
Trent realizes the power of words and their capacity to change our perception; the way we speak about something influences how we experience it.
Experimenting with poetry, journalism, short story, autobiography, plays, 1st-person perspective and essays from age 13, he can guide you to revisit past experiences and see them in a way that can empower instead of paralyze. And if you’re ready to have some fun, he can work with you to create your own personal mythos, find your gifted superpower and create a new personal vision!

Highly Gifted Professional Development
We invest just as much, if not more time at the workplace than our homes with family. Developing proficiency at working with peers, supervisors and clients who may not be at your level can greatly enhance your well-being and personal mastery. I provide coaching for the highly gifted in this arena, journeying with you as you discover how emotional intensity, heightened senses and powerhouse intelligence can effectively navigate the professional landscape.
Create Your Personal Myth, Write Your Story
Storytelling is an ancient experience, and the stories we tell ourselves can reshape our past, embrace the present and prime for the future. In this session I work with you to return to the stories that made the deepest impact. From there we’ll examine them through your gifted lenses, rewrite your story with you as the hero on a personal journey, taking down monsters and setting the stage for the profoundly gifted superhero you want to become.
How is gifted professional development different from other kinds of career readiness?
Successfully navigating the professional environment can be challenging, especially for young adults. This becomes even more of a challenge when you incorporate the nuances that a gifted and highly gifted person experiences. Since there’s no off switch, the emotional intensity, intellectual drive, stimulation and sensitivities influence how we perform and work with others. Often, peers and supervisors may not understand our perspectives. Or we might perceive a solution that’s considered too outside the box to contribute. Imagine being invited to a company party when you expect the conversation topics to be bland compared to your interests. Or imagine being paired with a coworker whose rank is higher but you have a deeper grasp of the project. Gifted professional development takes these subtleties (and the obvious!) into consideration while helping you build a quality professional reputation.
How can creating a personal myth or story be useful for someone like me?
The more gifted you are, the deeper you perceive and feel. You might have intense emotions about how the world is, or own a passion for wildlife or food or business. But you might not know your purpose, how to coordinate all of those wonderful capacities pulsing within. Creating a personal myth is a co-creative process. You learn to take ownership of your experiences and frame them in a way that helps you realize a mission. Let’s work together to transform you into a gifted superhero of your life!
Do I have to be a good writer or professional to receive coaching?
Not at all! Since we’re co-creating, it’s a journey that will have twists and turns and realizations, all supported by an intention to grow with your gifts.
